    UMPIRES UNLIMITED! REFS RULE! RESPECT YOUR REF!

  • Are you interested in improving your umpiring skills?
  • Want to give something back to hockey?
  • Want to get to one of those tournaments you couldn’t make as a player?

    Central Bay Hockey would like to develop our umpiring volunteers at all levels, particularly secondary school.

    We are proposing:

  • issue of rule books;
  • theory exams;
  • discussion sessions;
  • issue of Central Bay Umpire Shirts;
  • mentoring.

    • Go to the Umpires Corner for Rules effective 1st May 2009 and Umpires briefing.

    Locking up the Turf.
    The Police have asked us to keep the gates into the turf carpark locked. Please everyone ensure that this is complied with.
